Synopsis

Hochsommer in der Mecklenburgischen Provinz. Fünf Häuser, eine Bushaltestelle, Kühe und
ringsum nichts als Felder. Christin, 24, (Saskia Rosendahl) lebt auf dem Bauernhof ihres langjährigen
Freundes Jan, 25 (Rick Okon). Die Aufbruchsstimmung der Nachwendejahre, die ihre Kindheit
prägten, ist längst dahin und auch in ihrer Beziehung gibt es schon lange keine Liebe mehr. Ihr Vater
säuft. Den Kirsch hat auch Christin immer griffbereit unterm Autositz. Unter der flirrenden Hitze
des Sommers scheint die Zeit stillzustehen. Da taucht Windkraftingenieur Klaus, 46, (Godehard
Giese) aus Hamburg auf, und die Welt beginnt sich wieder zu drehen.
