New France, 1665. Joseph Côté, sentenced to death for offensing Quartermaster Talon, eascapes and takes on the identity of a Jesuit. Wounded, the army at his back, he hides at the Seigneury of Beaufort. Its people, who are waiting for the King’s Daughters to arrive welcome Joseph and tell him the legend of Father Brind’amour, werewolf hunter. Joseph realizes he stole the identity of a hero! While werewolves are taring apart the Seigneury, Joseph falls for Marie, a King’s Daughter. Using uncatholic ways, Joseph gets rid of the beasts, saves the King’s Daughters and lives up to Father Brind’amour’s name.
