In 1700 a farmer and his daughter invest their life savings in a piece of land isolated from civilization. When creatures living in the deep of the forest infest the fields and threaten the lives of the farmers themselves, he calls a shaman persecuted by the Church and her young daughter to help to save the harvest and his family.
