Synopsis

Glauco of Brazil is a 90 minutes documentary, which shows the life and work of the painter Glauco Rodrigues. Gaucho from Bagé, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, Glauco is considered by theorics, critics, national and international artists one of the main painters of Pop Art in Latin America. Glauco Rodrigues’s path is shown through interviews, archive images and new images of the different sceneries on which the painter has been inspired and experienced. The documentary shows also interviews with artists and intellectuals such as: Nicolas Bourriaud, Ferreira Gullar, Gilberto Chateaubriand, João Bosco, Luis Fernando Veríssimo, Camilla Amado, Frederico Morais, among others.
