Synopsis

In the tumultuous late Tang Dynasty, the Prince of Liang seizes power and eliminates a rival heir. Charcoal seller Tian Anye becomes entwined in the conspiracy, unraveling secrets and sacrifices throughout intense battles with unclear loyalties. Ultimately, Tian Anye defies imperial soldiers, saves a mother and child, and escapes Chang'an.
