Synopsis

This screen adaptation of Chekhov's most famous play is by Stephen Karam (2016 Tony Award winner for THE HUMANS and shortlisted for the Pulitzer Prize for both THE HUMANS and SONS OF THE PROPHET).

While set in 1903 Russia, THE SEAGULL is fresh and modern and as relevant now as when it was first produced. It is the story of eight people, all of whom are fatally in love with the wrong person.

Funny and heartbreaking, it also touches on the dangerously seductive nature of narcissism.
