Two small-time crooks, Nicolas Pappas and Léon Dubois, offer their services to gangster boss Jo Laguerre. When their attempt to pull off a hold-up ends in dismal failure, Nicolas and Léon are sent to kill a rival gangster. Laguerre is not impressed when his two new recruits botch this operation and sends his hitmen after them.
