Hot-tempered, unprecedented father Ichiro Uehara and his family, a wife and a son and 2 daughters , leave Tokyo and move to Iriomotejima, an underpopulated tropical island in Southern Japan. The children, especially Jiro the only son, were always embarrassed with this father who has a firm belief and feels free to fight or argue with others when he feels necessary. Soon after they settle down in the island, Ichiro again starts to look for trouble and this time his enemy is the developer of a modern resort hotel. Ichiro stands up on the point of environment protection and the children discover how tough their father is to believe in something and never give up! The new life in the island gave the Uehara family a totally new experience and different perspective for them to find the family-ties. Family-comedy with fine laughter by great casts!
