Synopsis

“The Fallen Angel” portrays the wandering soul of Yozo, whose excess self-consciousness, from his early childhood, has always been in his way of his socializing with those around him. During his adolescence, Yozo indulges in alcohol and women, leading to his self-destruction. Fleeting but sensual relationships between Yozo and the many women he encounters add beauty and radiance to this literary epic, and are also among the film’s highlights.
In scenes of dazzling visual beauty, Yozo throws himself into affairs with these beautiful women, but what awaits him in the end? A shocking yet moving ending is expected with heightened anticipation.
