Based on a true story.Fall 2004. Arianna hears that her cancer has returned. She writes a letter to the minister, asking permission to offer her place in society to her best friend Zahra, someone who really needs it. Zahra is about to be deported back to Afghanistan, where she and her family will not be safe. "I am dying, can Zahra take my place?"
