Launched in 1915, the Quebec Country Women's Circles was once the most influential women’s organization in the province, providing women with a place to share resources and improve their standing in family life and rural society. Nowadays, its members no longer live on farms and the group's handcrafts heritage has become a hobby for many of its 36,000 constituents. Fermières (All That We Make) tells the stories of four women that embody the universal themes of transmission, quest for recognition and social commitment, presenting a sensitive look at this fabric of simple women who form the oldest women's association in Quebec.
