Synopsis
The Skin Territory Trilogy is an uncompromising, real-life portrait revealing the true colors of the world of party girls from the jet set, models, gogo-dancers, and sex-workers. Drugs, high-glam prostitution, and underground sex trafficking are part of their lives. These are women’s intimate confessions of journeys to the edge of the unspeakable, the unthinkable, the undoable...these are true stories. The Trilogy’s atmosphere is an intense mixture of extreme desire, strange rituals of lust, desperation, and a breed of violence more devious, more terrifying than any special effects.
The first part: SHANGHAI BELLE portrays Xin, a beautiful and quiet Chinese girl, propelled from the slums of Shanghaï to the glittering world of Paris, discovering the wild and carefree lifestyle of a photographic model. Her life is a whirlwind of drugs, money, sex and love. Paris, the famous “City of Light,” is also a giant meat market, producing and discarding young hopefuls at a terrifying speed.
