Synopsis

After the disappearance of his wife and daughter, Tomás García, a skeptical police investigator, enters a state of depression in which he has visions of his missing wife. In these visions, she indicates a place, a nursing home on the outskirts of the city, a trail that he will follow. Once there, he will find resistance in Atabey, a Haitian nurse of shamanic origin who seeks to protect an ancient Taino curse.
