Lupe (Diana García), is struggling to support her dying, Mexican immigrant mother when she falls for Benny (Noah Segan), a handsome but troubled hipster. After seducing Lupe and gaining her trust, Benny suggests that they can solve their money problems by robbing her boss, Simon, a famous prima donna actor. Although she initially rejects Benny's plan, Lupe soon changes her mind, and they set out to rob Simon, only to discover that his valuables are not what they seem. They improvise by taking the one thing Simon truly holds dear, and learn hard lessons as their plan spirals out of control.
