Synopsis

Jerusalem. Gaza. Only a hundred kilometers separate these two cities which are home to Tal, a 17-year old French girl, recently relocated to Jerusalem from Paris and Naïm, a young Palestinian in his 20’s, born, raised and confined in Gaza. After witnessing her first bomb attack, Tal refuses to accept that hatred is all that can exist between Palestinians and Israelis. She slips a message in a bottle, and sends it into the sea near Gaza; and soon Naïm finds it. From there begins an email correspondence and the emergence of a slim hope that their burgeoning friendship may give them the strength to face the world and to change it in their own small way.
