Synopsis

SPANISH MOVIE is the first film to parody the recent
international box office hits coming out of Spain. ‘The Others’
(Alejandro Amenabar), ‘Pan’s Labyrinth ‘ (Guillermo del Toro),
or [REC] (Jaume Balagueró & Paco Plaza) have inspired this
film, which also makes wonderfully parodied references to
‘The Orphanage’, ‘Volver’ (Almodóvar) or ‘Alatriste’ (Agustín
Díaz Yanes) to mention a few.
Large doses of humour, ingenious winks of recognition to Spains's recent films, a cast carefully selected for their comic roles and a decent store of surprises together constitute the ingredients of this off-beat comedy.
