Synopsis
Actor Eric Stoltz’s feature film debut based on the book of the same name. Author Tony Dushane wrote a semi-autobiographical tale about coming of age during the Reagan years as a Jehovah’s Witness. His many humorous struggles with sexuality, discovering Punk Rock and Charles Bukowski led to a most tragic and liberating implosion. With a striking and dynamic cast all humanizing this tale and recognized from TV, Film and Theater: Paul Adelstein, Reed Diamond, Dean Cameron, Tara Summers, David Hedison, Finneas O'Connell, James Karen, Shari Belafonte, Scott Atkinson, Sam Behrens, Rob Giles, Lauren Lakis, Sasha Feldman, Nicholas, Harsin, Charlie Buhler, Kit Dezolt, Kenneth Hughes, and more. The direction by Eric Stoltz known more for his directing on Glee, Boston Legal, Madam Secretary, Nashville and more has a gentle elegance allowing powerful performances and coming of age antics for a deep reflection on religion, the 80's, first sexual experiences...and God(s).
