Colombia’s largest port, Buenaventura, is paradoxically one of the country’s poorest cities and a kingdom of violence, corruption, and neglect, where youth are doomed to a life of poverty and uncertainty. In the midst of this harsh reality, Harvey and his three friends have lost touch with their passion and true power. Former local urban dance champions, they now concentrate on merely surviving time and again, attempting to escape their hard reality. This all changes when they hear that the national Urban Dance Championship is to take place in their town. Defying violence and despair, they rise again in warrior style, rediscovering their alter egos and self-worth in the sounds of the Pacific and Latin hip hop beats. As the championship progresses, their daily existence will prove to be their biggest obstacle and they’ll have to choose between violence or dance, between bullets or rhymes.
