Ahlam, a Lebanese painter who has recently graduated from art school, strives to secure her artist visa to stay in New York City. In need of funds, she accepts a job transporting a mysterious package to Kingston in upstate New York. Once in that town’s historic Stockade District, Ahlam realizes that a curious collection of characters, some merely strange and others less benign, are interested in her parcel.
