Disillusioned Gunu, a young man from Satavaya village on the east coast of India, travels relentlessly from death to death, from the memories of a past cyclone into the eye of an upcoming one, hoping to reunite with his lost family. Gunu returns to his now-inundated village five days before a predicted super cyclone, confronting his tragic past and reliving events that the priest who keeps visiting him has prophesied.
