Rufino is an old painter, who is losing his sight little by little. Being a nuisance in his son and daughter-in-law’s house, he decides to come back to his seaside town where he meets again with its landscapes and his great friend Gaspar, a painter who has taken the custody of a little girl, Ana.

Rufino is an old widower, hard headed painter that little by little is loosing his eyesight. Feeling that he is a burden in his son´s and daughter in law´s house he decides to go back to his old home town by the sea where he refinds the landscape and his old friend Gaspar who is also a painter and that has taken custody of a little girl who´s name is Ana E.. While he fixes up his old house, Rufino is invited by Gaspar to be his guest at his house where Ana E. and the dog put they’re noses into everything and above all have a say in everything. Not long after he arrives to San Pedro, Gaspar dies and the future of Ana E. becomes uncertain. Here begins the story between the two of them were Ana E. becomes Rufino´s guide, as he teaches her to paint to win a contest at school.
