Synopsis

The summer of 1983 in Krakow, Poland. A sun shower pours down on the Montelupich Political Detainment Centre where Jędrzej waits in the visitation hall for his lover, Magda.
Prisoners sentenced to death in Kraków are not informed of the date of their execution. Neither is their family.

For the past two years, each visit between Magda and Jędrzej could have been their last. Today when she comes she is beautiful, drenched from the rain outside. When Jędrzej asks about their son, she confesses that she told him that he had already died.
