Synopsis

Helene publishes sentimental novels and leads a life rhythmed by work. She hides herself in books, certain that life is more beautiful in them than in reality. While she indulges in a routine, her everyday-life is going to be disturbed by the arrival of a new neighbor, Mrs Mills. Very fast, this old eccentric American lady will take an unexpected significance in Helene’s life. But appearances can be deceptive…
