Nesrin and Hatun are both cleaning women living in Istanbul. They live in the same apartment and there is a hierarchy to their friendship: Hatun is like the older sister. Nesrin struggles to survive with her young daughter. Hatun dreams in vain of buying a house in the districts where she works.
