All the dramas she wrote have enjoyed high ratings. A playwright, Mayumi Taniyama (Kyoko Fukada), has been hailed as the “Queen of romantic dramas”. One day she is put in charge of writing a special drama that may change the future of a TV station, but she is unable to write even a single line although the deadline has already passed. Then for some inexplicable reason, the TV station sends to her a producer, Mukai (Kippei Shiina), who is as good as an amateur, having only been transferred from the General Affairs Department. “I will do whatever it takes to complete the script!” “Well then, fall in love with me. I cannot write stories if I am not in love.” From that day on, Mukai and the staff at the TV station begin a grand operation to get her to write the script, but effort alone cannot make her fall in love. Then suddenly Taniyama starts writing. What on earth has prompted her?
