A sense of loss and inferiority that just won’t go away…Horigai is nearing the end of her college career and getting ready to begin her new job at a child welfare center. She’s 22 years old, over 170cm tall, and a virgin. People say she’s strange, but she doesn’t really think so. She spends her days going between work, school, and home, and doing barely anything else. She meets another student at her school, Inogi, but she has a traumatic incident in her past, and the relationship they build is a strange one. Then, the violence and sadness that have been a part of her life since the death of her friend Homine begin to show themselves once more…A humorous depiction of empty, lazy lives, and an unflinching look at how the darkness of society can suddenly reveal itself. The third full-length film by director Ryohei Yoshino, who is famous for his powerful and delicate directing style. Starring talented young actors such as Yui Sakama as Horigai and Nao as Inogi, and with Seiichi Kohinata, Show Kawamatsu, Yo Aoi, and Kokoro Morita in supporting roles.
