Yumiko, a waitress, encounters a shunga book that lies open on a table. A middle-aged man whom the other waitresses call Mr. Shunga, suddenly starts explaining and invites her to his house if she wants to learn more. This eccentric man, Haga, is a famous researcher yet to complete his encyclopedia of shunga. Yumiko visits his house and quickly becomes lured into the world of shunga, a world of profound beauty and excitement. Not only so, she steps into Haga’s life of love and perversion only to be frustrated by his distance towards her. Now, Yumiko is entangled into a relationship with Haga’s editor Tsujimura and Haga’s late-wife’s sister Ichiha, not knowing Haga’s true nature and what he has been hiding from her…
