Synopsis

His beloved wife has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, with only a year to live. When a doctor informs the husband that laughter can raise a patient’s resistance to disease, he resolves to write a short story for his wife every single day.
Based on a heart-rending true story of a famous science fiction writer, Taku Mayumura, and his devotion to his wife, Setsuko.
