The Amazonian Rain Forest, in the 80s. The epic story of a gold rush of modern times in Serra Pelada, the biggest open-pit mine. Two best friends, Juliano and Joaquim, leave Rio de Janeiro to try their luck like thousands of poor men across the country. But life at the mine changes everyone and everything.
