Psychiatric Hospital of Tinskaya. Yulia and Katia are committed there since they are 18. They both spent their childhood in an orphanage, and then, got deprived from their civil rights as they became adolescents. Victims of the absurd management of institutions for difficult orphans, they were transferred in a “madhouse”. Yulia and Katia try to leave this place. Basing himself on a recent law, the orphanage director tries to help them out of internment. Step by step, I follow this attempt: installation of a forensic expertise, meeting of the district council, court ruling concerning the legal ward. What will happen to Yulia and Katia ? I don’t know it yet, but I want to believe, as they do, that there is a solution even to the most desperate situation. A solution that could possibly lead to freedom.
