Breno is a man adrift in three cities. In São Paulo,
unable to deal with the end of a love relationship,
he accepts a job abroad as an escape. In Berlin, as a
foreigner, he questions his studies, his culture, his
country. The intense passion for Jeanine, a French
woman on the move to Germany, also makes him
confront the conventional ways of loving. Even
though they are still in love, they separate. After
being illegal for a while, Breno returns to Brazil, and
during a carnival in Salvador he reconnects with an
old love. But now transformed by the experiences
he had in Europe.
