But when homes in surrounding areas like Taiwan, Thailand, Japan and Malaysia are so much cheaper, why not seize the day and see the world?” Leung Siu-wai says this to convince young people to travel the world and find their purpose, but it’s all merely part of an airline advertising campaign called YOLO (“You Only Live Once”). Wai can’t even practice what he preaches – he happens to be one of those young Hongkongers who longs to buy a flat.
