Lisa is an intellectual, her life is devided between work at an ethnography museum, watching TV in the evening and sex with her ex-husband on week-ends. Viktoria is an ordinary provincial woman . She comes to St. Petersburg for a holiday. For her holiday means vodka, parties and adventures. It seems they have nothing in common. However, by chance they meet and become friends: water and fire, a bluestocking and a party-goer, an intellectual and a common woman. Lisa and Vika are two different sides of one coin named Russia. The story reminds us The Servant by Joseph Losey set in modern Russia.
