Jeanne, a fortyish filmmaker whose work is at a standstill, returns to her home region to present her second film. During the week-long social-cultural tour, she meets the militant director of a vacation centre, passionate movie buffs, cultivated hikers, a seductive real estate promoter, an outgoing actress, a thoughtful documentary producer and a still-attractive ex-lover. Most of all, she finds a real purpose to her work, helped as she is by the young crew with her.
