Sara, an 18-year-old Syrian girl, is holding her two-year-old daughter against her. Together with Bay, her boyfriend, the three are crammed among other migrants into an overcrowded vehicle driving through Belgium in an attempt to reach England. At the same time, Inspector Redouane, who is on a mission to hunt down human traffickers, aims at the tires of this van and ends the frantic chase, but at what price... No one deliberately shoots a child, except by accident. While the police try to cover up for their comrade and the politicians try to blame the migrants, Redouane and Sara, two wounded people who have nothing in common, must now face reality.
